KEVIN QUINLAN

ARCHITECTURE

KEVIN QUINLAN ARCHITECTURE LLC is a full-service architectural firm specializing in custom residential projects throughout Connecticut, New York, Virginia, greater New England and beyond.

Established in 2002 as a small 'studio', the firm's goal is to provide thoughtful, innovative design solutions combined with thorough, precise technical and administrative services.

This commitment to the highest design, technical, and management standards is met by a talented, dedicated staff led by Kevin Quinlan, who guides every project from conception to completion.

The result of this business structure is evident in the completed work. Each project presents a unique set of challenges requiring the formation of a set of central ideas that respond to the needs of a specific client, program, site and budget. In addition, each of the tasks within a project is an opportunity to reinforce those central ideas, helping to produce cohesive and unified solutions. This discipline is essential from the earliest schematic phase throughout the development of the finished product, and is seen in every level of architectural detail.

Throughout the project process, the clients receive the individual attention that makes them a part of the custom design process, with Mr. Quinlan and staff guiding them from the initial concept to the completed project while remaining faithful to set goals and budget.

The final products are contextual and cost-efficient design solutions that effectively translate a client's goals and dreams into reality, whether a new custom residence that complements the natural surroundings or additions and renovations that enhance the existing house.

MISSION

"I strive to exceed client expectations while adding maximum value to the client's home and property by first taking into consideration all aspects of design including the site conditions, a client's particular program requirements, building codes, and zoning regulations.

Projects evolve as the result of a process-oriented methodology that unifies art, technology, and precision detailing with each client's unique needs and budget.

My goal is to create a client-focused project that is experientially uplifting and that transcends mere stylistic trends in order to achieve a timeless elegance, creating architecture that blends a sharp sense of tradition with contemporary insight and technique.

A commitment to quality and contextual aesthetic expression - coupled with pride in craftsmanship - has enabled the firm to provide a design product that elevates the business of building to the fine art of architecture.

The wonderful clients, talented builders, and knowledgeable & professional local building officials with whom I've had the privilege of collaborating on projects share an equal amount of credit for the high quality and diverse work that KEVIN QUINLAN ARCHITECTURE LLC has become known for."
